Our Neighborhood Health initiative is designed to bring more health prevention services and support directly to the people and communities we serve. Through Hartford HealthCare’s statewide integrated network, access and referral coordination to all other HHC hospitals are provided for procedures related to sterilization that may not be performed at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.

These procedures are provided at: Backus Hospital, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Hartford Hospital, Hospital of Central CT, Midstate Medical Center, and Windham Hospital.

In certain cases, such as emergencies, the procedures mentioned above can be performed at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
