What we offer at The Center for Gender Health

The Center for Gender Health recognizes that every person’s journey is unique.

We partner with each patient to determine and provide the emotional support and medical care they need as they seek gender affirmation.

Our services include:

  • Behavioral Health

Our specialists work with patients to determine what behavioral health support they need including addressing anxiety, depression, social difficulties and gender dysphoria.

  • Primary Care

The Center for Gender Health offers primary care services that are tailored to the specific needs of transgender and gender-diverse adults.

  • Hormone Therapy

Hormone therapy can help patients affirm their gender by suppressing characteristics of their gender at birth and enhancing characteristics of their true gender.

  • Voice Therapy

The Center for Gender Health offers access to licensed, certified speech-language pathologists with specialized gender-affirming voice training in an atmosphere that encourages voice and communication development to align with your gender expression.

  • Care Management

Navigating the healthcare system can be a challenge for anyone, so we provide dedicated care managers to help guide patients through the process.

  • Chest Reconstruction

Our team of therapists and plastic surgeons works closely with primary care providers and endocrinologists to help patients transition and achieve the desired physical appearance.

  • Facial Reconstruction

Transgender patients seeking to reshape their face can work with our plastic surgeons and behavioral health experts to discuss and achieve their appearance goals.

  • Urology

Specialists from the Tallwood Urology & Kidney Institute can help patients biologically transition from male to female.

  • Gynecology & Pelvic Health

All transgender patients undergoing surgical gender affirmation are supported by our gynecology and pelvic health experts. This can include the surgical removal of female reproductive organs for transmasculine patients, or post-surgical care for transfeminine patients.
