We are excited to offer cognitive fitness initiatives, such as a Brain Gym program for the community and residents at Mulberry Gardens, Jerome Home and Arbor Rose. By housing the cognitive fitness program in the same facility as the Good Life Fitness programs, seniors are encouraged to make the link between their physical and mental well-being.

FY22 Accomplishments

CNA Program: For the 5th year, Hartford HealthCare Senior Services offered a six-week certified nursing assistant program course with a grant from Jefferson House that paid for books, scrubs, testing and the state certification exam.

Jefferson House

Jefferson House offers security, a harborage, where patients can avoid long hospital stays while still receiving nursing care, intensive rehabilitative therapy, nutritional counseling, self care and the psychological support necessary for re-establishing independence in their daily lives.

Jerome Home is a 120-bed skilled and residential care community with assisted living and rehabilitation, including outpatient services and long-term care.
