Dr. Yan Zhang is an exceptional physician. She is informative, approachable, and shows genuine concern. With each visit, Dr. Zhang brings patience and a keen ear to understand your particular health needs. This said, you feel heard as an active part of determining the best course of care. The staff is very good. When I arrive at the Doctor office I never have to wait long.they are very Caring and they Explain Everything to me. I also have a Nurse that calls me every week to see how I'm feeling I am very Thankful for everyone.

Dr. Zhang received her medical degree from Peking Union Medical College in Beijing, China. She obtained her PhD degree in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology from Stony Brook University in New York. She did her internship at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. She completed her neurology residency at University of Connecticut and Hartford Hospital during which she served as a chief resident. She then pursued fellowship training in epilepsy at Yale Comprehensive Epilepsy Center.

Dr. Zhang is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

She is a member of American Academy of Neurology, and American Epilepsy Society.
