Dr. Jill Rubinstein joined Hartford HealthCare as a surgical oncologist in 2020 and practices out of St. Vincent’s Medical Center. While currently building a broad practice, her clinical focus areas include melanoma, sarcoma, and endocrine surgery. In parallel with her clinical duties, she holds a research appointment as a computational oncologist at The Jackson Laboratory. Her research falls under the translational heading, integrating clinical, genomic and imaging data to explore tumor heterogeneity and evolution in response to treatment.
Dr. Rubenstein has lived most her adult life – save five years in Sweden after college – in Connecticut where she earned medical and doctoral degrees from Yale University. She also completed a general surgery residency through the school. She spent two years completing a fellowship in complex general surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
Out of the office, she enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, and raising her three sons.
