Hartford HealthCare’s transplant program at Hartford Hospital had the best one-year kidney graft survival rate in the nation.
The program has the highest overall functionality one year after transplant of any similar kidney transplant program in the entire
country.

Infection Prevention

Best in New England

Hartford HealthCare is the only health system in New England to meet the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services high standards for significantly reducing hospital-acquired infections.
Hospitals are rated by CMS on patient outcome measures and specific patient safety indicators.

Hartford HealthCare works to lower the overall cost of care through high-quality offerings that provide care in the most appropriate setting.

 

43%Surgery outside of hospitals

With 21 ambulatory surgery centers and outpatient endoscopy centers, patients have greater access to safe surgical care at far lower costs that in hospital settings.

In fact, 43% of all surgeries and procedures at Hartford HealthCare are performed in these ambulatory settings.

From fee-for service to value-based care and payment

Two Medicare Advantage partnerships — AdvantagePlus Network – CT with Optum, and CarePartners of Connecticut with Point32Health — provide value-based services for 60,000 covered lives.
